THIS is a distinction that has required some attention for MUCH time.

Frequently clients will give me a run down of what they’ve been doing exercise wise (especially on the physical therapy front) if they’ve been tending to an aspect of their body that’s been in pain.

The biggest misconception that tends to happen with the assortment of exercises that are prescribed, is that strengthening ones have not been made clear to be different than stretching ones!

And that matters BIG TIME in the realm of pain/weakness.

Lift with Your Chest!

Well, if you’ve been missing this therapist’s touch, or are completely unaware of what her work can do please know that access has been granted on Tuesdays starting May 1st.

And a few words from Carolee herself about what life has been holding & her enthusiasm about being back in the treatment room:

“Hello everyone!

i hope this note finds you well.

Where to start!?…. As many of you have heard, life has been busy. Isn’t it always? Overall things are great. I have been enjoying life with my 2 kitties, yellow lab, and boyfriend Rory. We recently moved up to a mill space in Pawtucket. At work have been taking a tour of healthcare so to speak. .. between Neuro-surg Intensive Care, Medical ICU, and Emergency nursing I have had the opportunity to learn so many things. I have been lucky enough to provide reiki and reflexology to patients at end of life care, or struggling with invasive life support. I have also had the privilege to spend more time working on family.

But truth be told, I miss you all. I miss having one on one time to find that meditative space where healing happens. I have been studying life saving measures, but have also been able to tie the holistic approach and the study of biology together through studying immunology. My personal struggles with a flare up of an autoimmune disease (Celiac) have brought me full circle. The more research I do the more I am reminded of how important breath work and stress reduction programs are! I look forward to reconnecting!
