How to Protect Your Shoulders When Opening Doors

Hello Dear One!

If you’ve ever repeatedly wrestled with doors or daily heavy objects that seem to take more of an undesirable toll on your body than expected – then “Dancing Over Your Feet”, might be a practical concept to take to heart.

As usual HOW we do something is often far more important than WHAT, and this explanation of HOW to protect your shoulders with that easy imagery might prove useful.

How to not hurt your shoulder when opening a door.

And if you have a desire for more specific instruction on how to use more of your body and prevent the likelihood of injury – please check out Power & Pain the ebook, or Power & Pain in person (or other training offerings in person and online).

To getting you clearer on how the body works and how to make it work for you.

How to Avoid Body Burn Out

Hello Dear One!

Are you all too familiar with getting a subtle signal to NOT advance to GO, but find it more normal than not to simply cruise by that warning flag?

If you’re like most, then probably so.

The truth is listening to, being able to hear, and then actually HONORING ourselves does take practice but it will benefit you by NOT experiencing crisis in your body or being, and also with feeling infinitely more harmony and joy!

For real.

The body will whisper it’s needs, and if we don’t attend to it (LIKE A CHILD) it’s volume will rise to a SCREAM where we can’t deny it any longer.

Check out this video for a little more on the matter.

Listening to Your Body

I mention Fat Burning and Personal Training clients in the video.

If you’re curious about either or ready to change your physical reality that also incorporates THINKING LIKE THIS, please give both series of programs a look (especially BEFORE the holidays!)

To getting you clear on how the body works, and how to make it work for you.

Muscle Pulls and What Not to Do

Hello My Darling!

Do you often struggle with discomfort in the form of a pulled hamstring or calf?

And when you experience said grave discomfort, do you aim to stretch the bejeezus out of it, heat it like there’s no tomorrow, or ask EVERYONE around you to massage it??

If so, you’re not alone.

AND if you’ve found that approach to NOT fully address the situation, please give this brief video a look to gain insight to a different tactic that might serve you better.

Muscle Pulls and What to Do

And if you are in need of a manual that will explain the logic of the body and give you a handle on what to do (or how to PREVENT the problem in the first place) based on having more of a grasp on how this system of levels and pulleys we live in work, please check out the ebook Power & Pain.

Or consider experiencing the 2 session methodology in person here.

To getting you clear on how the body works, and how to make it work for you.

How Reflexology Helps with Stress

Hello Darling One!

Have you HEARD about reflexology, but have yet to experience it?

If you think it’s only a glorified foot rub, think again.

Not only can more of the body be accessed by known and specific spots called reflex points on the sole of the foot (or hand, or face), but the body can be both assessed AND attended to by those same points.

Because of how much of the body can be affected through these reflex points, reflexology can affect our physical health as well as our emotional health.

“Most clients have utilized reflexology as an adjunct therapy for reasons varying from anxiety, to plantar fasciitis, and even sinus or digestive issues.

The point of reflexology is not to treat or cure disease, but rather to help the nervous system kick back a notch, and let the body function without stress impeding it.

Many people that have trouble sleeping, or focusing find it a helpful mindful practice, and use it as a way to get back on track.”

To schedule an appointment with her to reduce stress and enable to body to function in a more optimal state, please check out her schedule here.

Self Care Sermon

Hello Dear One!

Are you one of the many that has more than a handful of charges and responsibilities?

Or are you someone who takes advantage of ALL the myriad expectations and opportunities there are to do, experience, and enjoy?

One of these situations can seem more desirable than the other, but the truth is they BOTH can leave one feeling depleted.

Nourishing activities are not always done outside of giving, nor are they always something that is high energy and seems FUN.

The truth is YOU know what feels good.

And what doesn’t.

If you’re more focused there than not ALL will be good.

So if you need a moment, take it.

Or if you really need to turn something less than pleasant into an endeavor that thrills you INFINITELY more, PLEASE do.

And if you need a little more reinforcement for putting what feels good first, please check out this video on the matter.
