THIS is a distinction that has required some attention for MUCH time.
Frequently clients will give me a run down of what they’ve been doing exercise wise (especially on the physical therapy front) if they’ve been tending to an aspect of their body that’s been in pain.
The biggest misconception that tends to happen with the assortment of exercises that are prescribed, is that strengthening ones have not been made clear to be different than stretching ones!
And that matters BIG TIME in the realm of pain/weakness.
